
The Honourable Mme. Justice Maureen Rajnauth-Lee
Justice Rajnauth-Lee chaired the Sexual Offences Advisory Committee appointed under the JURIST Project to provide support for the development of the Sexual Offences Model Guidelines for the Caribbean Region and for the establishment of a Sexual Offences Model Court in Antigua and Barbuda.
In 2018, Justice Rajnauth-Lee was honoured as an Outstanding Alumna of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. In 2021, she was installed as one of the Patrons of the Caribbean Association of Women Judges.
In 2021-2022, Justice Rajnauth-Lee co-chaired the CCJ Academy for Law – Pioneering Caribbean Women Jurists Project – along with Justice Winston Anderson, CCJ Judge and Chair of the CCJ Academy for Law. The two Judges co-edited a book which featured 34 Pioneering Caribbean Women Jurists, produced several videos highlighting the lives of these 34 Women Jurists, and hosted a Virtual Awards Ceremony honouring them.
